Wandering in Tehani: Key Biscayne & Miami @ Sail BlogsSunday April 11: Weighed anchor at 7:45 am & had a great beam-reach sail at better than 7 knots all the way up Biscayne Bay to Key Biscayne, where we anchored on the west side of the key south east of the Rickenbacker causway, with a view of the Miami skyline. (No Name Harbor, which is a secluded little hole at the end of Key Biscayne for about 5 boats, was already full.) A major thunderstorm in the late afternoon, with 30 knot gusts, but we were watching the Masters on TV down below. A good rain that finally washed the boat after many days of salt spray. Spot was happy to see civilization again. Direct Link
