Today, we cleaned the boat. the entire boat. we used some orangey soap, which i didn't think would work because it's environmentally friendly, and scrubbed the whole boat, from bow to stern. it was okay. my feet were soaked, so thank goodness i rolled my jeans up. i did look pretty goofy running around like that though. i also tripped over a rock and cut my foot on some little barnacle thing. oh, and i fell down the last half of the ladder, too. just got a bruise. so anyway. after washing down the boat, there wasn't anything else for us to do. ben and a boy aspen likes, thomas, picked us up and took us out to dinner at the Hurricane :) so every one let out a big hurray for aspen! it was her first date! woo hoo!so we doubled and ate dinner. it was a lot of fun :) they boys teased aspen about not wanting to eat in front of them (she ordered a finger food. i meant to, because its a lot less embarassing, but i forgot and got a cheeseburger. greaaaaat.) and i teased Thomas about having food in his hair to get him back for that. there was none. we got a taxi home because it was raining.
